Admission Process

Students seeking admission to one of the specialized degree programs must complete a Program Selection Form.

• The Faculty of Engineering distributes this form to first-year U of A engineering students during the second term of first year.
• Transfer students must complete this form as part of their application package.

When you complete the Program Selection Form you will make a choice between the Co-op and Traditional routes as well as rank order the engineering specializations you most want to study beginning in second year.

Admission to Co-op, and to a specific specialization, is competitive and based on your academic performance and your preference.
